Additional biographical information

Monica is an entrepreneur and home-educating mama of 12 years with a huge passion for teaching. As a community leader, Monica launched a homeschool support group in spring 2020 and wrote a book called Homeschool By Design. Monica currently teaches her two boys from home, who are 11 and 12 years old. Travelling often, they spend about 1/4 of the year on the road all over North America. Featured on a national TV station with eight segments on homeschooling, Monica is an expert in this field and loves to support others on their homeschool journey thought her Facebook group/page. Besides homeschooling, Monica is the founder of one of Canada’s longest-running vegan food festivals, is an essential oil educator, and a speaker and author.
