Common Core Math Standards: Geometry, Mathematical Processes
This zipped file contains 11 total documents (21 pages in all). This Geometry City activity is sure to be a hit with students. Students will become construction companies and will be asked to design a city based on geometric concepts.

I used this with my 4th grade students and had to modify it a little bit. It was a little confusing for them. The cities turned out amazing, but it took a LOT of guidance on my part.

Hmmm. We have used it with fourth grade students before and have had no problems. Yes, it does take teacher guidance. They can not do the project without a some teaching! :-)
