This Halloween themed Constructed and Extended Response Math Problem Solving Pack will be a great addition to your fall resources! The skills assessed are addition, subtraction, and place value.

Included in this download are 10 Constructed and Extended Response Performance Tasks. Each Performance Task Assessment has a small passage at the top followed by 8 tasks for students to complete. Answer Keys and Individual Rubrics are included for each Performance Task.

These Performance Tasks can be used in a variety of ways- modeled whole group instruction, small group, morning work, homework, assessment grades, center work, and more!

We created this resource to help prepare our students for solving constructed and extended response math problems! Students must be able to write about their math thinking. These constructed and extended response problems are modeled after the new state and national assessments.
