Description
Interactive Math Notebook Geometry for 3rd Grade: I have adapted some of the activities in my other geometry unit to a more interactive layout. I have also included several brand new activities that I know your students will have a lot of fun completing in their interactive math journals! All pages are in black and white for easy printing/copying. These activities are aligned to the Common Core and cover both Geometry and many of the Measurement and Data standards as well.
Partitioning shapes (6 pages): Partition various shapes into halves, thirds, and fourths.
Shape sorting and distinguishing attributes of (9 pages): polygons, quadrilaterals, number of faces
Composite shapes (4 pages): Make new 2D shapes from provided 2D shapes.
Foldable Activities (4 pages): Number of sides, faces, edges, vertices
Exploring Area (5 pages)
Mystery Solids (5 pages): Can you guess what the unfolded 3D shapes are?
