English teachers can use this creative activity while reading/acting Shakespeare's Tragedy of Julius Caesar, or history teachers can use it to enhance student learning of ancient Rome.
It's a modern twist on the character sketch & summary of act/scene. Plus, it's in a format today's student understands (& likes!).
Complete with additional activities for enhancement: act/scene "status updates" (instead of summaries) and create a "gift" or "application" and send it to other characters. Includes a grading criteria outline and grading rubric checklist.

Great resource!
I loved the idea of this project, but didn't have time to roll it out as planned. I have a question: how did you prevent students from plagiarizing from the internet? I googled Julius Caesar Facebook Project and many examples come up that kids can take. This question is the only reason I gave the "practicality" above a B rating. I love this and want it to work. Please advise!
