a 20-day unit plan that I wishfully designed for 5th grade students which integrates the Art, History, Creative Writing and Literature through the reading of several historical fiction series' and demonstrating their knowledge through various artistic, kinesthetic, and auditory techniques (with adaptations for different types of learners in parentheses).

This is a very interactive powerpoint game complete with sound bites such as audience applause and the Jeopardy theme song! I have adapted it for a lesson on Latino/ Hispanic American Sociological History in California, but the slides are VERY easy to change/customize. Kids love it!

This is a 3-day lesson that takes a 30 min period each day. It is designed to address the California Health Standards for 4th grade in the theme of dealing wih and identifying bullies and bullying behaviors. The lesson also integrates English Language Development Standards as well as Social Studies and Reading standards for the fourth grade.
