Little Red Riding Hood Common Core Literacy & Math Unit contains 6 activities for students to complete and a Story Elements and Character Response Sheets. Each activity contains activity cards and response sheets. There are 2 literacy activities and 2 math activities.

Literacy Activities:

1. Little Red Riding Hood Making Words- Students make words using the letters in "Little Red Riding Hood." They write the words on the recording sheet. Cards are provided.

2. Little Red Riding Hood Synonym and Antonym Challenge – Students read the cards and determine an antonym for the word. They record their results on the response sheet. As a challenge, they choose two words they recorded to write a synonym for.


Math Activities:

1. Little Red Riding Hood Making Sums - Students pick an equation card and determine the sum (Level 1: 5, 7, or 10. Level 2: 12, 15, 20). Students write the equation in the correct sum box on the response sheet.

2. Little Red Riding Hood Odd or Even? - Students sort cards into odd and even piles. Students record results on recording sheet.
