This lesson will provide students with the opportunity to take part in an interactive, cooperative learning experience integrating technology and English Language Arts. Students will be able to use a combination of background knowledge and explicitly stated information to infer meaning from text and illustrations. Student volunteers will assist the teacher in inferring meaning from five different examples. This will expose students to the many ways they can find clues to infer meaning.
