Math Brain Teasers 30 Mini Test Prep Worksheets Promotes Higher Level Thinking
This set of 30 Brain Builder Math Riddles contains problem solving activities that involve number sense, place value, time, money, geometry, graphing, fractions, measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and pre-algebra. A student scoresheet and answer key these math brain teasers is also included. Kid friendly graphics have been thoughtfully included to bring smiles.
I created these math test prep activities to inspire my students to be thinkers and problem solvers. We discuss each math riddle, and students share the process they used in finding their answer. These discussions are vital because they allow me to better understand the strategies kids use to solve math problems. It also gets them talking about math and using the vocabulary related to the topic.
