Math Fact Fluency Flip Cards and Slide Cards are designed to help students do two things: understand the relationships between numbers in a fact family and master fact fluency. This kit contains two different ways to strengthen fluency skills: flip cards and slide cards. Both are hands-on manipulatives designed to designed to engage younger students.

Math Fact Fluency Flip Cards
Flip Cards are flexible so that students can practice addition facts or missing addends. The flip cards practice the following facts:

*making 10*
*adding numbers up to 10*
Math Fact Fluency Slide Cards
Slide cards enable students or teachers to hide an addend or the sum. The slide cards practice the following facts

*making 10*
*adding numbers up to 10*
Checking progress kit and monitoring tools.
Each type of facts (doubles, making 10, up to 10) are color coded. Facts are not duplicated between these three sets.
The Common Core State Standards now assure that students will be fluent in facts up to 10. They also guarantee that first grade students will be able to solve addition and subtraction by using strategies like counting on, making 10 and using doubles.
