This is the handout for parents that explains the mini lesson chunking lessons. This is a daily program where the lessons on a given day are the same week to week. This helps to create a routine and mini lessons that chunk important Literacy lessons, before you move onto your other lessons. I used this for lower level 9th graders, but this can be used in any class. Spelling, grammar, debate, POV, YouTube reflection journals, reading and writing literacy and writing prompts.
