This journal is packed with 70 math tasks! The common core standards are all about having students use higher level thinking skills. Not only do your students have to solve problems, they should also be able to explain how and why they got their answer. This journal is the perfect tool for your students to practice solving math problems and explaining their reason behind their answers.
Each page has one math task. The problem is on the left side of the page. Students read the problem and solve the problem. Students can sketch pictures, make a number sentence, draw tables, etc on this side of the page to solve their problems. On the right side of the page, students will explain in writing how they came up with their answer.
