Similar to my Snowman Write the Room, this Valentine's Day math center will have your kids looking for more - more math, that is!
The focus skill in this activity is adding or subtracting ten (Common Core Standard 1.NBT.5: Given a two-digit number, mentally find 10 more or 10 less than the number, without having to count; explain the reasoning used). Questions include:

Students will record the solution to the equation from each pumpkin card as they move around the room, activating their kinesthetic learning! Includes addition and subtraction to 13.
Post each pumpkin card throughout the classroom, or leave the pumpkin cards at a center.

In Making Ten, students will find the missing addend to add to ten.

I LOVE small groups. I try not to stand in front of my kids for more than like 20 minutes at a time. My kids love their literacy centers and math workshop time!
