Before you pick your topping cards,

My students love this assignment, so easy for them to see how it applies to real life!
My students had a lot of fun using this resource in small groups.
According to CCSS this is technically a 5th grade standard; however, my 4th graders had a BALL with this resource!!! I have a pretty high class this year (#teacherwin), so a quick mini lesson on aligning the decimal was a piece of cake. I explained that this was a 5th grade skill and they were ready for the challenge. The graphics were cute, and it went perfect with my NACHO AVERAGE MATH DAY theme!!!! Huge success...and admin came thru for nachos...did a quick glance...later that day I walked in on them talking about my class. Today was a GOOD DAY!
