These math stories are short word problems for students to solve and write an extended response answer. They are targeted to help students hit common core requirements and practice the extended response questions that are going to be used on standardized testing.
They are called "Math Story Mondays" because I only used them once per week (Mondays) in my class, however they can be used any day and any time in your classroom. They would work well in a math center, or great for students who finish their work early.
