This pattern unit is aligned with the extra Kansas Mathematics Additions to the Common Core Standards (Algebraic Patterning). I use these pages after I teach a pattern. The kids love that I give them the opportunity to "create" their own patterns with the colors that they choose.

Included are AB, ABC, AAB, and ABB pattern design worksheet pages with coloring and painting instructions. Each pattern has a separate painting/coloring page. There is one combined page where I have listed all four pattern types on the same page for review/assessment.

Painting is always a highlight in our day, so why not make it meaningful! :)
