Description

Looking for a resource to help students practice finding finding a product or quotient that is written in unit form? This set of task cards can be quickly printed to set up a small group or game-based center to practice multiplying and dividing.

The answer key includes both Unit Form & Standard Form of the answer. The first six pages (24 cards) are written to be used in a fourth grade level class. The last two pages (8 cards) are meant to challenge students. Factors & divisors are limited to 10 or 100. Cards 1-24 are limited to the thousands period. The challenge cards include numbers in the millions period.

Recognize that in a multi-digit whole number, a digit in one place represents ten times what it represents in the place to its right. For example, recognize that 700 ÷ 70 = 10 by applying concepts of place value and division.
