Description

This amazing 35 page printout guides students through the initial process of recognizing patterns, to identifying the type of patterns and then finally, to creating their own patterns using the graphics enclosed.

The first section has approximately 12 pages of themed patterns (pandas, games, sports, fruit, vehicles, coins, time, etc) to recognize. The answers for each pattern have been provided at the bottom of each page. They should be cut out and pasted into the proper row.

The second section repeats the original 12 themes but now the students must identify the type of pattern (AB, ABB, ABC, etc). Again, the answers have been provided at the bottom of each page. They should be cut and pasted into the proper row.

The third section provides extra graphics for some of the themes presented previously. They should be cut out and pasted into the students' own creative patterns.

The great thing about this printout is that is can be printed in B&W and not lose its value. While the document is filled with colorful graphics, the difference in each pattern piece is clearly defined so that it does not matter if it is printed in color or B&W. The exception to this is the Sunbursts and Stars page.

If you find this handout/ printable useful, please do me a huge favor and provide feedback! And don't forget to follow me too! :)

Thank you!
