Description

How are these pumpkins different? How are they the same? Let's play the pumpkin sorting game! Create a fun fall math center that offers children lots of opportunities to practice sorting, graphing, and making patterns. Children will sort a set of colorful pumpkins by various attributes, such as eye shape, mouth color, and stem type. They will create graphs to reflect their sorts and interpret the results by reading their graphs. And they can create an endless number of fun pumpkin patterns! All of their finished work can be stored and tracked in their individual file folders. Everything is included in this unit to set up a sustainable math learning center that includes accountability to keep children on task.
