This is a great incentive for students to read their nightly homework. Each nigth a student reads they fill out a reading link. The next day they can turn in their links and see their bookworm grow. It's a great visual for students to see and helps to encourage them to read.

reading links (2) one for 20 min and blank one
bookmarks- copy on cardstock and laminate.
Celebration letter- when your bookworm grows around the room your class can decide on a celebration. (parts fillable)

I worked as an aide in a classroom that used a similar bookworm-growth incentive for reading, and the kids loved it. Now that I'll be the classroom teacher doing Daily 5, I think it will be a great way to document students' progress and help them set class goals.
