This exercise is multifaceted! It is titled "San Isidro Fair" which gives the teacher a chance to discuss this event and where it takes place. The main focus of this exercise however is to use the verb comprarse as an introduction to reflexive verbs. It shows students how a common verb from beginner vocab. can be used as a reflexive as well. The items used in the sentences can give the students a refresher on objects. If they do not know the items then they could have the opportunity to use the dictionary which is a whole other skill in itself. This is a great with groups!
