An “Inter+Activity is an activity that students get their hands on or into…What makes this different from a craftivity is the product is not meant as much for display as it is for students to use to study/review or just have a more interesting way to collect and organize information
This Inter+Activity involves folding the following paper on the dotted lines. This will give your students four sections and each section will be one of the four sentence types.
Declarative=Statements
Interrogative=Quesitons
Exclamatory=Exclamations
Imperative=Commands
I have my students locate an example of each one of the four sentence types from a book they are reading. They record the example in the correct box.
Use the teaching posters to introduce each sentence type or to cute-i-fy a bulletin board space.
