Join in the circus fun and sort words with the r-controlled vowels: ar, er, ir, or, ur, and ore using the sorting mats. Then, sort each pile in alphabetical order and check answers using the enclosed answer keys.
Search for the r-controlled word cards around the room, and record your "finds" on the Read the Room recording sheets.
Next, use the word cards to play a version of BAM called 3-Ring Circus.
Finally, complete the word searches for each of the r-controlled vowels - six in all.
Also included in the pack are recording sheets for a Syllable Sort and Parts of Speech Sort.
