Description
Over 90 different CCSS 1.OA problems that cover the K-2 common core problem types, result unknown, change unknown, start unknown, and comparison problems. This unit covers addition and subtraction up to 20. Each problem type is labeled to make it easy to write objectives and also easy to teach all problem types. This is great for the Gradual Release model of instruction. Problems can be used as focus lessons, collaboratively, or independently. There are problems with and without scaffolds, including some for students to cut out and glue in math journal for independent work. You can also send these home for homework. There are also differentiated problems that are highly scaffolded so that all learners can succeed. Primarily these are geared to first grade, but can be used to reach needs of high kindergartners or second graders who may need more support.
Problem Types:
Result/total unknown
Change unknown
Start unknown
Comparison (more than/fewer than)
*JUST ADDED* Wall posters for the four problem types.
Please let me know if there are any questions. I appreciate you looking. And I am so thankful for feedback!
