This packet contains 30 cut & paste math journal prompts that are designed to encourage your students to stretch their mathematical thinking! The majority of the spring themed prompts center around Mother's Day, bugs, plants, cold treats(popsicles & ice cream), swimming, the ocean/beach, and the end of the school year! There are a variety of skills covered: addition, subtraction, creating and solving word problems, representing numbers, number combinations, comparing numbers, place value, and more! Many of the prompts promote higher order thinking and multiple solutions.
Each page has multiple copies of the same prompt to help make printing easier for you! Simply cut out the prompts and pass them out to your students to glue into their math journals!

These are the perfect size. Students glue them into their math journals. These have really helped with building thinking skills and they're so cute too. I love your illustrations. Thanks!
