Overview
Your students will practice sorting words by syllable count; one syllable, two syllables, or three syllables. There are several levels of practice that can be had with these cute mats and cards. Students can use just the one and two syllable mats with picture clues and the picture cards at the easiest level or use all three syllable mats without picture clues and the word cards at the hardest level. Just make available the mats and cards of your choice and students will sort the cards onto the correct mats. I’ve included two recording sheets, one with space for drawing, one for writing.
