Need a fun way to practice R Controlled Vowels? Do you have any football fans in your class?
Why use R Controlled Vowels Football-Themed BINGO Game? Children are motivated by their passions. Those children who are passionate about football will be more likely to practice this game over and over, practicing this important phonics skill!
How it works: This is a Bingo-type game with dice to practice reading words with R-controlled vowels. It has a football theme. The roll of the die determines which R-controlled word to cover. The directions require a little thinking and focusing, and the kiddos love that!
What’s included: There are nine game boards, enough to play with a whole reading group, or let a few partners play at center time. Make a few extra copies of the directions; all you have to do is print, laminate, and play. You’ll need dice and counters, which I’m sure you have in your classroom!
