Description
This is a packet that contains 20 different story problems for math, aligned to the First Grade Common Core Math Standards, all related to Turkeys!
It includes problems related to:
*adding and subtracting 2 addends
*missing addend story problems
*3 addend story problems (focusing on finding the doubles fact or fact that equals 10 in the story problem)
These are full page story problems where students will need to show work and write explanations. No cut and paste needed. Just copy at the beginning of the month and you'll be set for the entire month with story problems that meet the CCSS's. =)
Each page has a different problem with room for students to show their work AND they also have room to WRITE their thinking, using a simple form carried over from Language Arts (First, Next, Last).
