Teaching style

Throughout my career, I have never been a "behind the teacher's desk" type of teacher. I believe that relationships are key to learning, and to do that, teachers must be with their students, whether it's at a table or sitting on the floor. Our students must become critical thinkers who can work with each other. My resources are often designed with collaborative opportunities to help children develop their skills and abilities as well as hone their communication skills with their peers.

My own education history

I attended North Carolina State University (Go Pack!) for my undergraduate and graduate work. I am licensed in North Carolina is the following areas: -Technology Facilitator (K-12) -Technology Education (6-9) -Middle Grades Career Exploration (6-8)
