This 14 page packet focuses on using key words to help in problem solving. Students who have trouble reading but are strong in math have trouble being successful in math due to word problems. But when students are taught to focus on key words as one of their problem solving strategies, they can be successful even if they have trouble reading.
This packet is based on a detective theme. includes a printable poster to display key words, a graphic organizer for students to use, student and teacher notes, a Key Word word search, practice sheets for addition, subtraction, multiplication,and mixed word problems, and a key word sorting game.
This packet couple with my PowerPoint presentation on key words (available at my TpT store) is all you will need to teach children how to use key words in problem solving.

Separating some of these products would be helpful. Seems to be overpriced for what is included. For example.. I just bought a 75 page unit study for a novel for $9.
