This is a writing task I use occasionally for discipline reasons. Sometimes I don't want to issue a consequence that seems overly punitive (like an after school detention), and it is more important for me to have the student realize what behavior I had an issue with and why I need that negative behavior to stop. This writing task allows me to issue a consequence that is not harsh yet hopefully meaningful!
