This is a fun way for the children to learn the water cycle. They will follow the steps and string colored beads on a cord to represent each part of the water cycle. The children retain the information so much better with a visual to go with it. And they love making the bracelets as well.

This involves using guide letters to decide which item goes under each aisle.

Figuring out spoonerisms is a funny activity. A spoonerism is when the first sounds of words are switched with each other leaving a funny phrase behind. This lesson has two sheets for the students to complete in which they will correct the spoonerisms. Also there are 2 Shel Silverstein poems that include spoonerism as well. The students will rewrite the poems with the correct phrases.

This is the second activity in my Drawing Conclusions lesson about shopping with coupons. You do not need to have the first lesson in order to do this one. I received several comments from shoppers that said they wished there were more coupons to do. So I decided to start collecting coupons again and -Viola- here they are. The first direction sheet for the students was written as though the students completed the first coupon activity. I have included a second set of directions for those of you

A Super Fun Art Project That Is A Great Activity To Create On School Picture Day I love to do this activity on the actual day of school pictures. The students love the silliness and really get into this art lesson. The students pretend that right before having their pictures taken these horrible (but silly) things happen to them. They choose one of the cards that comes with this activity and draw a self-portrait (head and shoulders) making sure to include the "horrible" thing that has happened

This game includes 25 playing boards with 50 different summer themed pictures placed sporadically on the boards. There are also 50 different clue cards that will to be read aloud by the teacher. I recommend that you print the playing boards in color and on cardstock to give a more authentic feel of a board game. Also, if you plan on using these again then I would definitely laminate them as well. After printing and laminating the boards, all you need is some type of counter for the students to

Just print and laminate the money direction sheets and a blank hundred's board and you are ready to go. The students will count the coins and write the answers with a dry erase marker on the direction sheet. They will then color the matching number on the hundred's board. When drawing, the students will match the colors on the hundred's board with the colors on the money direction sheet. I have included 7 different pictures with this pack. I also included a blank hundred's board and copies of th

This can be used as a center activity, a time filler or for a small group lesson. I use poker chips that I have put letters on with stickers but any letter cards will work. The students make the word as it appears on the sheet. They are to figure out which letter is extra so that when it is removed it will make a short vowel word or a long vowel word. They will then copy these correct word on the line. It is more challenging than it looks. The students continue this process until finished. I hav
