About the store
Hello! I have been an elementary teacher for twenty-one years. Most of my teaching years have been spent teaching a fourth grade and fifth grade blend class. I love every minute of it. I have also worked in a pre-kindergarten class for three years. Prior to 2016, I enjoyed creating my own materials. Then I had my own children and that became more challenging. My children are growing up and I am finding more free time to create. I am so excited to be back creating materials. Things have certainly evolved on TPT, but I am confident my materials are useful in the classroom. I find the things created by teachers are the best resources for students.

You will need to purchase a few items (candy kisses, hearts, etc.) to complete the activity. I did it for the first time this year and it was HUGE hit.

I use the game I have...Who has often in my classroom. The kids love to make and play their own versions. I use this template for them to create their games and for me to create multiple versions.

Book Report: Design your Own (Great for Reading Month)

This download includes a write up and a rubric for students to create their own book project. This will be my third year doing this project. It is always a favorite because the kids are in charge. It empowers them to challenge themselves. I typically do it in March in honor of Reading Month. "In honor of Reading Month, you get to make to a decision on what type of book you will read, what type of project you will create, and what how you will be graded.
