Experience

I have two decades of experience teaching mathematics both at the middle school level as well as at the high school level. I enjoy many different subjects and plan to expand my resources to include more advanced subjects as well as update many of my products.

Teaching style

I enjoy making my students as interactive as possible helping them to learn through visuals, videos and games. I am excited about the new COMMON CORE CURRICULUM because it will be much more fun to teach the concepts at a deeper level. I love hands-on activities and inspiring my students to think at a much higher level. I am currently learning more about using apps as a way to create authentic learning opportunities for my students.

I am currently being trained as a Apple Vanguard Teacher and also as a LEAD Teacher where I will be helping other teachers learn how to incorporate various APPLE Apps to enrich their lessons.

My own education history

I have a Bachelors Degree Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education. I am qualified to teach 6-12th grade and I have earned my Masters Degree in Leadership and Administration.

Additional biographical information

I have two lovely daughters and a wonderful husband. I enjoy spending time with them going to the beach and just being outside. I also have a small herd of goats and a cute little dog that are my fur babies. I love each and every one of them!
