Everybody loves a good game of tic-tac-toe! Why not incorporate it into math centers or stations?! Students play in pairs and must solve the two digit addition problem (without regrouping) in order to claim their space. The first one to get three in a row is the winner. Leapin' Lilypads is a small group game perfect for math centers or stations. This game was made to go with Chapter 2 on Number Bonds in the 1st grade Math in Focus series. Leapin' Lilypads reinforces number sense and basic addition skills. Students take turns drawing frogs to see if they can place them on their lilypad number bonds.
