I created this set of full color posters for my classroom to display the Reading Comprehension Strategies and Thinking Stems we use in Readers Workshop. Fun Letter/ Sound recognition game that kids love to play! (and they are practicing letter sound skills and don't even know it!) How play: Place cards face down in the center of the table each student takes a turn drawing a card. If the student correctly states the name of the letter (or sound it produces) they keep the card. If he/she draws a "FREEZE" card he/she must pass all cards collected to the person on the left. The student on the end with the most cards at the end of the game WINS!

In my classroom we are working on Manners and Random Acts of Kindness. I used this printable to cut apart and glue on wide popsicle sticks. We choose a new stick each day!
