LETRS Trained Teacher (2025) National Board Certified Teacher as an Early Childhood Generalist (2024) ESL Endorsement (2013)

My own education history

I graduated with a BA in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. I am proud to be a graduate of Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah. I earned my ESL endorsement in 2013 and I became a National Board Certified Teacher as an Early Childhood Generalist in 2023. Recently I became a LETRS Trained Teacher and I am excited to create resources with a background in the Science of Reading!

Additional biographical information

Outside the classroom, I am an avid reader and love spending time with my family, especially my nieces and nephews and my 93 year old Momma! I am definitely a Disney adult and go there when I can, which is not often enough! Here in Utah I love being in the great outdoors, and a special place to me is Bear Lake. I love musical theater and love to catch my favorites when they tour and stop in SLC. All of this helps to fuel and motivated the creativity found in all of my teaching resources.
