Fanatical in First Grade

This is a set of posters used to help distinguish the different kinds of sentences. Each poster has an example sentence and key points to help determine what type of sentence it is. Included in the pack is a poster for declarative, interrogative, imperative and exclamatory sentences.

Looking for a fun way to practice Nonsense Word Fluency...students enjoy the challenge of getting as many words as they can in one minute. This activity encourages students to blend the words instead of segmenting the sounds. The student reads as many words as they can in one minute.
