Hi,

I am not pleased with this purchase. The language and font is not student friendly, and I was not expecting the entire pack to be numbered as it is. I would greatly appreciate a refund if possible. Thank you.

I am sorry you were not pleased with the resource. I want my buyers to be happy with the resources I create.

I am not sure what you mean about the numbering. The language and font are shown in the preview to be downloaded for your review before you purchase a product.

This is the refund policy for Teachers Pay Teachers as found in FAQs. "Our policy is to refund if a product file has legitimate technical issues, or if a product description is misleading."

Again, I am sorry you are not pleased with your purchase; however, according to the policy you are not eligible for a refund.

Barbara H. re: 3rd Grade Math - Multiplication/Division, Fractions, Area, 2-D Shapes

Hello. My school is just finishing up for the year and we are sending home 'packets.' (Projects and/or worksheets that students can complete at home, independently or with a little parent support.) One of my students is quite precocious and motivated. She will be a third grader in the fall, but tested as an early fourth grader on most of math tests. I wondered if this is something that would work well for her. Would you recommend it. She probably won't have many resources available, but she is eager and creative.

Hilda Ratliff (TpT Seller)

Thank you for your question.

How wonderful to have such a motivated creative student! The resource in question is a review of the four critical areas in 3rd grade math. It was designed to have one task as a group activity in order for the students to confer with each other. Each task has an individual student handout to complete questions similar to the group task. Of course, your student may do the group task individually. I think she will do fine on the fraction tasks, area and 2-D shapes. Keep in mind that this resource is a review and there is not as much "teaching" of the concepts as in other resources I have created. There are lots of activities in the resource and I believe your student will benefit from them. Some of the multiplication and division questions may be more difficult for her. You might send a separate packet for her parents with the answer keys in them. I would recommend the resource for an advanced student entering the third grade with the notation that she will most likely need help on the multiplication and division.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thank you.

Hilda

Ann M. re: Common Core Math Area Applications Grades 3 and 4

I just discovered your materials on TPT. Our district does not have textbooks for the new CCGPS so I am spending so much time making and providing students with take home notes to help them and their parents with homework and to reference when doing classroom activities. I would purchase much more from you if you ever get a chance to add more for 4th grade CCSS math standards. I LOVED what you had for 4.MD.5. I found nothing else that really covered the standard and made it easy for students to understand and work through. Thanks so much.

Hilda Ratliff (TpT Seller)

Thank you so much for the comments! I am currently working on a resource that reviews standards 4.OA.3, 4.OA.4 and 4.NF.2. The problems deal with Easter egg hunts, Easter chickens, rabbits and such, but they can be used any time. Be sure to preview it when it is posted soon. I have lots of ideas for 4th grade. Be sure to follow me to be notified when more resources are available. Thanks again for the inspiring feedback!
