Experience

I am entering my seventh year as a high school English teacher. I have taught all grades and all levels. I have also taught elective courses in short story and film and literature. I am experience in both Mac and PC programs. I have also worked with Photoshop and InDesign quite a bit.

Teaching style

I look at every lesson, every day and every activity as a teachable moment. I Common Core align everything that I possibly can but sometimes there are things that students just need to know (and who cares what it aligns with?!).

Awards & shining teacher moments

Well, none to date but I did go through a very rigorous interview process to obtain the job I have. I consider it honor to have been the chosen one!

My own education history

I have a BA in English and a M.Ed. in Education from Wright State University.
