If you draw each number to the first ten amendments, you can create a mnemonic device -- such as the first amendment is a pencil (number 1) writing on a SCRAP of paper (Speech, Complain, Religion, Assembly, Press) ... draw a 2 to look like a swan holding a rifle - the right to bare arms. I created this comic to help my students remember the first 10 amendments.

I am currently in my 10th year teaching. I have a four-legged furry child named Cotton :) I am a proud aunt to Ryan Ashleigh who was born March 2012! For the 2013-2014 school year I am also a MOM. I have two 16 year old girls spending a year with me. One is from Germany and the other from Japan!
