Hey there! I’m Ashley—a current public school pre-k teacher who once got into OT school but realized my heart belonged in the classroom. After more than 20 years of teaching, I know exactly what it takes to juggle academic demands while still protecting the magic of play. I create resources to help Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten teachers make that balance feel doable.
Teaching style
I love hands-on, theme-based learning. I also love to incorporate play into learning experiences for my pre-kinders! Fine motor skills are the foundation of everything I do in my classroom! I test all products in my own classroom, so you can be sure they are loved by preschool/Pre-K teachers and students alike!
My own education history
I earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University.
I earned a Master's degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy from Walden University.
I earned an Educational Specialist's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Alabama.
I also have an ESOL endorsement. I LOVE learning, researching, and improving my professional knowledge and practice!
