Decoding BIG Words
This activity shows children where the breaks are in various multisyllabic words. It requires students to use their knowledge of consonant sounds, blends and vowel sounds contained within numerous syllables. This packet contains 42 picture cards and 42 words printed in various colors to separate syllables. Your students will love this quick and fun activity. It can be played over and over again until the decoding becomes automatic.

Additional biographical information
I have been married for 31 years and have two wonderful children. Both grown and homeowners. Their rooms have been dismantled and made into a craft room and an office. So I am seriously hoping they will NEVER come back to live. But if they do I would take them in with open arms.
