My class love all of the Old Lady Swallowed books. When I recently saw that there was a new book, There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Cow, I knew that they would love it. I purchased the book on Scholastic. I have included a cut and glue Sequence sheet. I have also included colored sequence cards to use on an Anchor Chart or Flow Map. Goldilocks and Three Bears Retell Craft is a fun engaging activity for students to retell the story. Students will color the parts of the craft. Attach Goldilocks to the side of the retell with yarn. They will move Goldilocks along the retell strip to show the story sequence of the story. This made such a cute hallway display. We received many compliments on our project. Tortoise and the Hare Retell is a great way for students to Retell familiar stories. I also use this unit along with my Science and Social Studies lessons. Students can compare how objects move fast and slow. We also talk about how to always give your best at everything we do.

I have a "Hands-On" approach with Kindergarten children. I believe in challenging my children each day and holding them to a higher level. I have high expectations for my Kindergarten children. I believe learning should be fun and engaging.
