Teaching style
I have been teaching using a balanced approach to literacy for the last 13 years. My Language Arts instruction centers around Readers' Workshop, Writers' Workshop, and Word Study.

In years past, my classroom has been used for district trainings. I served as a mentor teacher to other teachers in my school as well.
My own education history
I have my Masters Degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy. I am also TESOL certified.
