One-half page chart that students fill out to understand the concepts behind Radioactive Decay and Half-life. Four Rows: Half-life number, pie graph of parent/daughter isotopes, ratio of parent/whole, and percent parent isotopes. Very simple, takes five minutes to complete and is fantastic to help solidify the concept. I would use it the 2nd time they are working on radioactive decay problems. No answer key.

This is a two page worksheet that is used with a PHET simulation called Radioactive Dating Game. This is a fantastic simulation that shows how radioactive decay is used for absolute dating of artifacts. This simulation uses Carbon-14 and Uranium 238 as the example isotopes.
