This is a smart board activity to go along with your author study on Jan Brett. The mini-lesson incorporates a page to write a prediction. I show my student the cover of the book only and have them write down a few predictions. We then read the book. Next, we use the smart board page to answer the story elements and to see if our predictions were correct!
