This PowerPoint will instruct your students on how to figure out the stressed syllable of a word, which is the first step in helping them learn to properly use written accent marks in Spanish. It includes explanations, easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions, examples, guided practice activities to use as a class, and links to activities I've created online for the class to practice together or for students to practice on their own.
