I am a homeschooling mom of a 5 year old who loves to learn. In my previous gig as a graduate student, I taught college-level statistics and Sociology courses. Since graduation, I tutor children, teens and adults in a wide array of subjects including standardized test preparation, Algebra, Statistics and Writing. I believe that education should be healing. We are all doing our best to understand how the world around us works. As a teacher, my job is to offer perspectives as deciphering tools to heal the divide we feel within ourselves, with all parts of the living world.

My own education history

I obtained my Ph.D. in Sociology from Ohio State in 2012. My primary topic of interest was understanding the role of education in promoting health and positive life outcomes. I also have a B.A. in Sociology.
