This is to be a center activity or group sort. Students are to sort the word pairs into synonyms or antonyms. A recording sheet is also included for students to write their answers on.
This is a free printable to use in your classroom as a little piece of encouragement before testing begins. I printed them out and attached them to a couple of smarties. I then passed it out to my STAAR buddies class.
I used fonts from Kevin and Amanda and clip art was From the Pond.
Thank you for downloading!
This is a great pocket chart sequencing activity that I used during my Laura Numeroff book study. Students will be able to read along with the story and sequence the events as they go along. I also included an independent sort for student to cut and paste in order. Please e-mail me with any questions you may have!
Students will match the word cards in order to the Earth Day poem. This is a great center activity for students to practice ordering words and matching. Students will then complete a fill-in-the-blank poem with the missing words.
